Albert Sambi Lokonga has sent a congratulatory message to Tottenham Hotspur manager target Vincent Kompany after he secured promotion to the Premier League with Burnley on Friday.
A claim was made by Alasdair Gold about the Belgian tactician potentially being recommended for the Spurs job by former colleague and current Head of Coaching Methodology, Simon Davies at the club.
While it seems clear that Vincent Kompany is touted amongst the potential candidates to become the next Tottenham Hotspur manager, for now, Albert Sambi Lokonga has praised his accomplishment at Turf Moor.
Lokonga sends former manager Kompany a congratulatory message on Instagram
The 36-year-old’s side faced off against Michael Carrick’s Middlesborough on Friday night, winning 2-1 and managing to officially have been promoted with seven games to spare.
Kompany and Co. could stamp their mark as the greatest Championship team of all time, as they could be on course for a staggering 108 points, beating Reading’s record tally of 106 during the 2005/2006 season.

As Tottenham manager target Vincent Kompany secured promotion with Burnley, Albert Sambi Lokonga had kind words to say about his former manager at Anderlecht.

Conundrum for Tottenham in their manager search

As Albert Sambi Lokonga alongside the entirety of the footballing fraternity marvel in the brilliance of Vincent Kompany, Tottenham have a serious decision to make about their potential next manager.
