Jack Grealish has posted on Instagram that he is ‘so happy’ for Bertrand Traore after his dramatic late winner helped Aston Villa beat Leicester City 2-1 at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday night.
The 27-year-old was sent out on loan by Steven Gerrard in the summer, but Unai Emery decided to bring the ice-cool winger back to the Midlands in January.
Whilst Bertrand Traore is yet to start a game since returning, he has made appearances from the bench, including against managerless Leicester last night.

With five minutes left on the clock, Emery’s side were pushing for the winner against the ten men of Leicester, when Traore was brought into the action.
Within a few minutes, he was wheeling away in celebration when he pounced on a poor pass and curled his first-time shot into the top corner from outside of the box.
It was a stunning effort from the player, and when Aston Villa’s IG account posted a video of the goal, Manchester City’s Jack Grealish posted in the comments section ‘Bertrand Traore, so happy for you brother’.
VILLA FLYING UNDER EMERY
That’s five wins in Villa’s last six games and that means the Midlands outfit are currently sitting seventh in the league table.
When Steven Gerrard was booted out before the World Cup, Villa fans just wanted a lift and they just wanted to see some sort of plan when watching their team play – they got none of that with Gerrard.
But there is no doubt that Emery has provided that in bucket loads, and more, as he also has the team dreaming of a possible European finish this term, which now seems likely.
