SISTER Wives star Kody Brown has settled his Arizona land war with his ex-wives Janelle and Meri after they threatened legal action over the property on the TLC series.
Kody, 56, purchased four parcels of land called Coyote Pass in Flagstaff, Arizona for $820,000 in 2018 when the family moved from Las Vegas, Nevada.
He planned to build five homes on the property for wives Meri, 54, Janelle, 55 Christine, 52, and Robyn, 46, including a separate home for himself.
Kody fought with his two ex-wives Janelle and Meri over the property division on Sister Wives, as Christine was bought out of her portion of the property.
In court records exclusively obtained by The U.S. Sun, two of the parcels of land were transferred from grantors Kody and Robyn to grantees Kody, Robyn, Janelle and Meri, as the property is now in all four of their names.
The court papers dated March 26 read of the two parcels, “Kody Winn Brown and Robyn Alice Brown, Husband and Wife, as Community Property with Right of Survivorship, as to an undivided 50% interest.”
“Janelle Brown, an Unmarried Woman, as to an undivided 25% interest and Meri Caroline Brown, An Unmarried Woman, as to an undivided 25% interest the following real properties.”
As for the third parcel, Kody and Janelle are listed as the grantors transferring the land in Janelle and Meri’s names in the amount of $10.
“Janelle Brown, An Unmarried Woman, as to an undivided 50% interest and Meri Caroline Brown, An Unmarried Woman, as to an undivided 50% interest.”
The final parcel remains in just Kody and Robyn’s name.
The U.S. Sun previously reported Christine signed over the parcel in her name to Kody and Robyn for just $10 on July 28, 2022.
The U.S. Sun also previously reported Kody and Janelle paid off a plot of land in their name on June 2, 2023, and an additional plot in Robyn’s name purchased for $170,000 each.
Kody has not filed permits to begin building on Coyote Pass, as it appears they may be gearing up to sell their portions of the land.
FEUD OVER LAND
The feud over Coyote Pass has been on source of contention on the current season of Sister Wives.
Meri said on an episode, “There is still a lot that needs to still be done with our property out at Coyote Pass.
“I sent an email to Kody, Robyn and Janelle saying, ‘It’s time we have a conversation.’”
Janelle added in her confessional, “Meri and I don’t know what’s going on. So of course we’re frustrated. We’re completely in the dark. There is no communication, nothing.”
Janelle threatened to get a lawyer to make sure the property is fairly divided, as she “felt like something was going on.”
Kody said in another clip, “It’s come to the point where the family is not going to live here. Robyn was the last to give up on the dream. But she’s finally consented, ‘Yeah let’s go ahead and sell.’”
Kody added that he wants to “sell the whole lot” and “get out of here.”
He continued, “Janelle suggested I buy her out, I was like, ‘How?’ I don’t have that kind of money.’”
Kody claimed, “I paid for the entire lot myself. When I sell, I’m going to divide the money four ways. My wife, me and the two exes. I think they’re worried whether I’m going to be fair or not, because divorce takes away the trust. But I will.
“Now that they moved away, all they are interested in is getting the money. I’m sorry ladies but you left me here holding the bag and I don’t know what to do with it.”
Who are Kody Brown’s wives and children?

FAMILY BREAKDOWN
Kody has separated from three of his four wives in recent years.
Christine was the first to announce her split from Kody in November 2021.
She moved to Utah with their teen daughter Truely and announced her engagement to David Woolley in April after just months of dating.
The couple married in October 2023.
Christine expressed her unhappiness in the marriage with Kody on Sister Wives, as he spent the majority of his time at Robyn’s home with their five children.
Then, Janelle and Kody announced their split on Sister Wives: One on One in January 2023.
On the series, the couple also fought over Kody living primarily with Robyn, as well as his feud with their sons.
Meri announcing her split from Kody soon followed, as they had been having marital troubles for years.
Kody, who is a father of 18, still remains legally married to Robyn today.
