SINGER Claudia Barretto has married her long-time boyfriend in lavish ceremony.
The 25-year-old daughter of former actress Marjorie Barretto and actor Dennis Padilla, is now married to her boyfriend, Basti Lorenzo.
Despite the lavish and love-filled day that saw Claudia and Basti tie the knot, the hitmaker’s father went on to express his disappointment.
Dennis, a Filipino comedian, TV host, radio broadcaster and actor, shared his upset over being treated like a “visitor” at his daughter’s wedding.
Dennis said that he was “stunned” because instead of being the “father of the bride” at the wedding, he was just a “visitor.”
According to Filipino outlet PEP.ph, there was a handwritten message, written in all caps, where Dennis expressed his sadness.
He said: “YOU ARE AWESOME!! YOU STUFFED ME! FATHER OF THE BRIDE WAS A VISITOR. YOU’RE GREAT!”
According to the Filipino news site, Dennis posted this twice.
He also replied to a comment where a fan asked him about the wedding.
According to the Filipino outlet, Dennis said to a fan: “I don’t [have] a part in the program… They don’t want to send invites.”
Reacting to PEP’s Instagram post about Dennis’ comments, one person slammed him and said: “This was supposed to be the moment of your child, which suddenly became your moment!

“It’s like that when you’re an absentee father, All you can do is to hope for the best for your child. Even it means cheering for them from afar.

While another person supported Dennis and said: “Honor thy Father and Mother… As long as they live…”
But aside from this, Claudia looked stunning as she quietly tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend Basti.
The couple’s wedding was an intimate and refined affair, which has been described as “deliberately low-key”.
Claudia is now the sister-in-law of actress Erich Gonzales, due to her now-husband being the younger brother of Mateo Lorenzo, Erich’s husband.
Claudia is a prominent star in the Philippines and is known for her music career.
With over one million followers on Instagram, the stunning brunette star likes to keep her fans updated with her life.
In June 2021, the Filipino singer-songwriter released Nothing To Do’featuring Curtismith, which marked her first release for Viva Records.
Speaking about her career that same year, she said: “As a music artist, you can kind of build that brand for yourself so that you can kind of be separated from your work.
“Like, this is my work and this is what I wanna share with the world.
