BEVERLEY Hills 90210 alum Shannen Doherty made an emotional confession on her podcast on Monday.
The star admitted to having to sell her belongings after facing death with her heartbreaking illness, breast cancer.
Shannen spoke on her new podcast, Let’s Be Clear, which started in December.
She opened up about her illness and admitted to selling her possessions to make it easier for her mom, Rosa Doherty, in case she passed away.
“My priority at the moment is my mom – I know it’s going to be hard on her if I pass away before her,” Shannen explained.
“Because it’s going to be so hard on her, I want other things to be a lot easier. I don’t want her to have a bunch of stuff to deal with. I don’t want her to have four storage units filled with furniture.”
Shannen’s big mission is taking an emotional toll on her, she admitted.
“It feels like you’re giving up on something that was very special and important to you,” Shannen continued.
The actress looked pale and tired as she spoke.
She donned a pink sweatshirt and black baseball cap.

She left her dark locks unstyled and went makeup-free.
“But you know that it’s the right thing to do and that it’s going to give you a sense of peace and a sense of calm,” she continued.
“Because you’re helping the people that you leave behind just have a cleaner, easier transition.”
Shannen said she recognized her death would not be easy for the people in her life, but hoped she could financially help her mom.
LETTING GO
She mentioned her love for antique furniture shopping and how her prized finds are currently in storage.
“I’m not enjoying it and others aren’t enjoying it, and do I really need any of it? Do I need to have three dining room tables?'” She rhetorically asked.
“The answer is no, none of us really need all the stuff that we have, and we could all do with a little bit of downsizing and not become a hoarder, which I was doing with all my furniture.
“It’s just stuff,” Shannen said.
“I don’t need this, it doesn’t really bring me any great joy, but what does bring me great joy is taking my mom to the places that she’s always wanted to go to.
“I get to build different memories – I get to build memories with the people I love.”
Shannen plans on taking more trips and vacations with her loved ones.
“I’m not digging into the money that’s in my estate that is going to make sure everybody in my life is taken care of,” she assured.
JETTING OFF
“It allows me to take more trips because I’m making money, I’m selling it. Then I get to build different memories and I build memories with the people that I love.
“I get to take my mom on vacations because I have all this extra play money lying around and I’m not digging into the money that’s in my estate that’s going to make sure that everybody in my life is taken care of once I’m dead.”

Shannen proceeded to discuss a vacation she took to Italy with her mom last year.
Her mom supposedly broke down in tears of disbelief as she never thought she’d see it.
Shannen said memories were most important to her, far more than possessions.
EMOTIONAL NEWS
The star revealed eight years ago that she had Stage 4 breast cancer.
She opened up to People about her journey in a cover story from the outlet.
“I don’t want to die,” Shannen said.
“I’m not done with living. I’m not done with loving. I’m not done with creating.
“I’m not done with hopefully changing things for the better. I’m just not — I’m not done.”
Her cancer spread to her bones, but she remained hopeful of clinical trials.
