SHANIA Twain has received criticism for wearing a see-through outfit onstage while making an upcoming career announcement.
The Canadian singer shared a new Instagram post with photos of her rocking a sheer black dress that showed her undergarments.
The post was to inform fans of her upcoming headlining slot at the Cavendish Beach Music Festival in July of next year.
“Let’s go @cavendishbeachmusic!! I’m headlining July 10, 2025,” she wrote in her caption.
“Ohhhhh we’re going to have a lot of fun together,” the singer further teased.
The first photo showed Shania, 58, flaunting her slimmer figure in a revealing gown featuring an off-the-shoulder design and a puffy skirt.
She was seen onstage with an open-mouthed expression while holding a microphone in one hand.
The You’re Still The One hitmaker completed her country-inspired look with a matching cowboy hat and knee-high boots.
Despite the exciting update, some followers were too focused on the photos and criticized the country star in the comments for wearing an “inappropriate outfit for her age.”
“Ridiculous. The sheer jacket is too much for your age,” someone wrote.
Shania has been showing off her slimmer body while on her recent musical comeback, which comes after her hiatus as she battled Lyme disease.
However, the five-time Grammy winner has been criticized for some of her onstage outfit choices, which many have found too revealing.

While performing at the Lytham Festival on the Fourth of July, the singer wore an orange puffer jacket and a black western hat.
She paired the look with a seemingly sheer, black bodysuit with a mosaic print and tights.
While the country singer looked confident in her ensemble, fans slammed her for wearing “underwear” and being too underdressed.
