SANDRA Bullock’s sister has broken her silence after the star’s boyfriend, Bryan Randall, died of ALS.
Bullock, 59, first met Randall, 57, who was a model-turned-photographer, when he photographed her son Louis’ birthday back in 2015.

Gesine Bullock-Prado shared a post on Instagram late on Monday night honoring Randall.
“I’m convinced that Bry has found the best fishing spot in heaven and is already casting his lure into rushing rivers teaming with salmon,” her caption began.
“ALS is a cruel disease but there is some comfort in knowing he had the best of caretakers in my amazing sister and the band of nurses she assembled who helped her look after him in their home. Rest in peace, Bryan.”
Gesine concluded by asking for donations to ALS Association and Massachusetts General Hospital in Randall’s memory.
Randall’s family shared the unexpected news in a statement, saying that he died after a three-year battle with ALS.
“It is with great sadness that we share that on Aug. 5, Bryan Randall passed away peacefully after a three-year battle with ALS,” Bryan’s family shared with People.
“Bryan chose early to keep his journey with ALS private and those of us who cared for him did our best to honor his request.”

The statement continued: “We are immensely grateful to the tireless doctors who navigated the landscape of this illness with us and to the astounding nurses who became our roommates, often sacrificing their own families to be with ours.
“At this time we ask for privacy to grieve and to come to terms with the impossibility of saying goodbye to Bryan.”
ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, according to ALS Association.
Bullock has not personally spoken out since news of Randall’s death broke.
The Oscar-winning actress is known for being private about her personal life.
A friend of Randall’s told The U.S. Sun in an exclusive statement that she was shocked by his passing.
“I’m just very sorry and in shock because I didn’t know he was sick,” Mia St. John, the mother of Bryan’s ex-girlfriend Paris St. John, said.
“It’s a complete shock. He was in great shape. He was sober.
“He had been sober for many years, so yeah, it’s just shocking.”
“Everyone is shocked,” she said while noting that she found out about his death in the news just like everyone else.
