HITC breaks down the Sanditon season 3 episode 2 release date and full schedule.
There are some authors that you’ll hear celebrated and praised far more than others and Jane Austen is right up there with the most iconic in all of literature.
Writer of Pride And Prejudice, Sense And Sensibility, and Emma, she penned a number of timeless classics but it is her unfinished manuscript that was adapted into Sanditon, a British historical drama starring Theo James and more.
Set during the Regency era, audiences were first whisked away to the titular seaside resort on Masterpiece on PBS in 2020, whereas viewers in the UK were treated to it courtesy of ITV.
With Theo joined by Rose Williams and others, it’s a pleasure to be invited back for more installments. Now that they’ve already begun, on the other hand, let’s acknowledge the Sanditon season 3 episode 2 release date and schedule.

‘This is so complicated and clever’
Head writer Justin Young was previously interviewed by Salon about bringing Jane Austen’s unfinished work to the screen and he humbly explained:
“I would never presume to think we come close to emulating the genius of Jane Austen. We are just playing with some of her crayons, really. But just even trying to ape her style, even trying to ape her wit, and her plotting and her characterization – you go, ‘Wow, this is so complicated and clever.’”
He continued: “The way she creates characters who don’t know themselves, I think is really interesting. It’s a real lesson in how to write subtext, how to characterize characters, and how to take audiences on that journey where you misdirect, where your characters present as a certain thing.”
Sanditon season 3 is now streaming on PBS Passport.
