SALT-N-PEPA star Sandra Denton, also known as Pepa, has shown off her all-new hairstyle that looks completely different from her 90s style.
The hip-hop music star was all smiles in her recent Instagram post, but a few fans urged her to stop editing her photos.
On Sunday, Sandra, 57, posed for the camera while flaunting her long black hair with bangs cut above her eyes.
The Salt-n-Pepa icon wore a white Versace shirt with a large gold diamond necklace with her band’s name.
Sandra also had her makeup perfectly executed.
In her caption, the 90s star discussed Women’s History Month and shared a Bible verse from Proverbs.
She said, “Empowering women empowers the world. On this beautiful Day of Women’s Month, let’s celebrate the strength, courage, and grace of women everywhere.”
‘YOU DON’T NEED FILTERS!’
However, a few fans pointed out the amount of filters she used on her post.

SALT-N-PEPA’S HISTORY-MAKING CAREER
Salt-N-Pepa is an American hip-hop group that was created in New York City in 1985.
The band consisted of Cheryl James (Salt), Sandra (Pepa), and Deidra Muriel Roper (DJ Spinderella).
Their debut album Hot Cool & Vicious made history by selling over 1 million copies in the United States.
With this achievement, they became the first female rap group to reach gold and platinum status by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
Their other albums include A Salt with a Deadly Pepa, Blacks’ Magic, Very Necessary, and Brand New.
Within their albums, they contain hit after hit including Whatta Man, Shoop, Let’s Talk About Sex, None Of Your Business, and Push It.
The group has been nominated for 5 Grammy Awards and took home the Best Rap Performance By A Duo or Group for None Of Your Business in 1995.
Due to their major success in the 80s and 90s, Lifetime released a biopic about the female group – but one member was left out.
WHAT ABOUT DJ SPINDERELLA?
Due to DJ Spinderella being kicked out of the group via a brutal email in 2019, she was left out of the 2021 biopic about the band’s career.
Diedra was not impressed by this move and went off on X, formerly Twitter.
“Sorry but I gotta speak on this Lifetime special. Too often, Black women who have made meaningful contributions in their industry are left out of historical narratives.
“Back when Salt n’ Pepa was building our legacy, which is rooted in empowering women, I could not have dreamed that this same group would one day disempower me.
“Words cannot fully express my disappointment when I learned a decision was made to move forward with a Lifetime biopic that wrongfully excluded me from every aspect of development and production… all the while using my image throughout, given that I played an integral role in the group’s story and success,” she concluded.

NOT GOING DOWN WITHOUT A FIGHT
She revealed that she wasn’t paid for her appearances and performances with the group.
At the time, was looking for compensation for her work on Salt-N-Pepa’s Best Of album released in the 90s, and royalties from the last decade.
She also sued for fraud, trademark infringement, and breach of contract.
The same year she sued, all parties involved came to a confidential agreement.
