SACHA Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher fans have expressed they were not surprised by the couple’s split after the actress dropped a major clue on social media.
Earlier this week, the former pair announced they quietly parted ways in 2023 after 14 years of marriage.
However, many fans weren’t shocked by the news after noticing Isla, 48, seemingly hinted online that there was trouble in paradise.
After one fan shared a snapshot of the pair’s joint Instagram post revealing their break-up in an online thread, many others commented with their thoughts.
“Saw this coming from a mile away….” one person wrote.
“I KNEW IT WAS COMING!” another echoed.

Others pointed out that the Wedding Crashers star hadn’t posted anything about Sacha, 52, on her platforms, seemingly signaling they were having marriage issues for some time.
Sacha also hasn’t been active on his pages, and last shared a picture of Isla in February 2023 in a birthday tribute.
The snap was of the Now You See Me star holding a pint of beer and the caption, “Isla looking at me and thinking ‘ten more of these and I may find him a tiny bit attractive’. Happy Birthday my darling.”
Meanwhile, many others were convinced the split stemmed from Pitch Perfect star Rebel Wilson’s sexual assault allegations against Sacha that were revealed in her new memoir, Rebel Rising, released this week.
“Was thinking we would see this pretty soon after the recent news. Right on time,” a user remarked in the thread.
“She’s getting away from him now, because his complete cancelation is imminent,” said another.

In her book, Rebel, 44, claimed that Sacha asked her to “stick her finger up his a**” while working on a project together.
“It felt like every time I’d speak to SBC, he’d mention that he wanted me to go naked in a future scene,” the Senior Year star wrote.
“I was like, ‘Ha, I don’t do nudity, Sacha.'”
The Borat actor denied Rebel’s claims and insisted he never forced her to strip down.
A spokesperson also released a statement on Sacha’s behalf.
“While we appreciate the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence, including contemporaneous documents, film footage and eyewitness accounts from those present before, during and after the production of The Brothers Grimsby,” the statement read.
Nine cast members also backed the Talladega Nights star’s claims that the alleged scene was included in the script.
ISLA’S OUT
While details about Sacha and Isla’s marriage woes are unknown, fans noticed other clues that their divorce was a long time coming.
For one, Isla hasn’t mentioned Rebel’s book on Instagram despite regularly posting on her account since its release.
Her posts also suggest that she’s been spending more time with her girlfriends without Sacha and that she made sure her wedding ring—or lack thereof—wasn’t visible in the photos.
Sacha and Isla tied the knot in 2010 in an intimate ceremony in Paris, France.
Their romance began years earlier after meeting at a party in Sydney, Australia.
Isla even converted to Sacha’s religion, Judaism, in early 2007, showing her commitment to the Bruno star.
The exes are parents to three children: two teen daughters and a nine-year-old.
