FORMER Teen Mom star Ryan Edwards has looked happier than ever with his girlfriend Amanda Conner in a new social media post.
Over the last few years, the ex-MTV personality had struggles with the law and with his ex-wife Mackenzie Edwards.
On Sunday, Ryan, 36, spent the beautiful Spring day with Amanda, 33, while lounging on a boat.
In the snap, Amanda took a selfie with Ryan showing off his pearly whites.
The former Teen Mom star went shirtless and flaunted his tattoos while his girlfriend did the same in a striped bathing suit.
Ryan put no caption for his pic but added the song Beasts Inside Beats by Lion.
‘YOU DESERVE TO BE HAPPY’
While a few critics left negative comments, other followers praised the star.
One wrote, “Gosh a lot of hate in these comments. good for you. congratulations on your new found happiness.”
“Best I’ve ever seen him look keep it up hold ur head high and enjoy ur life,” pointed out another.
A third echoed, “You look happy and healthy, Ryan! So happy for you.”
“You look happy, forget the 75% of judgmental other comments. You do you,” said a fourth.
Someone else said, “Hope you’re finally happy. You deserve to be.”
RYAN’S PAST RELATIONSHIPS
Before his marriage to his ex Mackenzie, he dated Maci Bookout and they share one son named Bentley, 15, together.
They were briefly engaged but called it off in 2009.
In 2017, he married Mackenzie.
In February 2023, Ryan and Mackenzie called it quits.
Toward the end of their relationship, the two faced massive hardships including domestic violence claims, and he even reportedly trashed Mack’s home.
In court papers, she listed the separation date as January 2023 after he “became erratic and violent.”
They have two children together: Jagger, 5, and Stella, 4.
The divorce was dismissed on February 19, 2024, because there were no filings in the case for 270 days.
However, a few weeks later in March, The U.S. Sun exclusively Ryan filed his own divorce from Mackenzie.
HIS ARRESTS
Since the beginning of 2023, Ryan has been in and out of jail due to drugs, harassment, and other charges.
On April 7, 2023, Ryan was found by police around midnight that night unconscious in the driver’s seat of his truck and was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and driving under the influence.
Weeks later on April 20, he was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days in prison.
In July, he was released to a rehab center in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and then in August, was ordered to go to a halfway house after completing a month in rehab.
At the halfway house, he met his current girlfriend Amanda.
In the end, the drug charge was dismissed in a plea deal on November 6.
The judge on the case was reportedly “hesitant” to approve the deal, but moved forward and scheduled the follow-up hearing.
In late November 2023, Ryan and Amanda were kicked out of a bar after a brawl broke out.
Days later on December 5, Ryan was ordered to go to court for a check-up where the judge for his case, Judge Starnes, “lost his patience” with him and he was arrested.
On his December 8 hearing, it was established that the MTV star had passed a drug test but failed to fulfill other terms of his probation.
On April 23, 2024, it was revealed by The U.S. Sun that Ryan was one year drug-free during his court hearing.
We’re here for a follow-up to see how you’re doing. I don’t see any probation violations. You have been drug-free for over a year. That’s an accomplishment. I’m glad you’re doing well,” Judge Starnes said.
Ryan will go back to court on November 18.
That same day, he was spotted walking hand-in-hand and smiling with Amanda.
