Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Julian Nagelsmann but a move to North London has now been played down.
Tottenham parted ways with Antonio Conte last Sunday and a host of names have ben linked since then.
Spurs won’t be making an appointment right now as Cristian Stellini and Ryan Mason will take charge until the summer.
Rumours aren’t stopping though and one prominent name in the mix is Nagelsmann.
The Telegraph reported last week that Tottenham were seeking talks with Nagelsmann following his Bayern Munich axe.
However, Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reports that Tottenham is ‘no option’ for the German right now.
We know that Nagelsmann wants to wait until the summer to take a job but Plettenberg appears to be suggesting that a move to London is unlikely.
Plettenberg highlighted that Nagelsmann is on Chelsea’s shortlist to possibly replace Graham Potter but Tottenham seemingly isn’t as strong of an option.

Julian Nagelsmann to Tottenham may be a pipe dream
Tottenham fans were excited when news of Nagelsmann’s Bayern departure emerged in March.

Tottenham are a mess right now given the situation surrounding director of football Fabio Paratici.
