West Ham United are interested in signing Carlos Borges with the Manchester City talent believed to be on the summer radar.

The report suggests that West Ham have Borges on their radar alongside another young talent in Bristol City’s Alex Scott.
West Ham’s head of recruitment Rob Newman is a former City man himself having been their chief scout for 11 years.
Newman was at the Etihad Stadium when City signed Borges in 2015 and may not look to lure him to East London.

The 19-year-old predominantly plays as a left-sided winger and he has been in devastating form this season.
Borges has racked up a ridiculous 16 goals and eight assists in 19 Premier League 2 outings.
Add in eight goals and seven assists across nine games in the EFL Trophy and UEFA Youth League and Borges has been sensational this term.
City coach Brian Barry-Murphy has hailed Borges as ‘exceptional’ having helped develop the teenager in recent times.
Eligible to play for Portugal or Guinea-Bissau, Borges appears to be a huge talent and West Ham may now push to lure him away from the Etihad Stadium.
