Antonio Conte has left Tottenham Hotspur but has given his blessing for Cristian Stellini to take his place in the dugout.
That’s according to The Telegraph, who report that one of Conte’s final decisions as Tottenham boss surrounded Stellini.
Conte has decided there will be no hard feelings with Stellini as he takes the reins at Tottenham.
Conte’s exit from Tottenham was finally confirmed on Sunday and he has chosen not to stand in Stellini’s way.
Stellini filled in for Conte during his recovery from gallbladder surgery and will now manage Spurs until the summer.
Ryan Mason will serve as Stellini’s assistant as they attempt to guide Tottenham into the Champions League.

This is a big opportunity for Stellini, who did a fine job when filling in for Conte earlier this year.
It’s also nice to see that, whilst Conte’s relationship with Spurs has completely broken down, he isn’t expecting Stellini to follow him and understands the opportunity facing Stellini.

The pair have known each other for a long time, going back to their time together at Bari in 2007.
Stellini followed Conte to Siena and Inter Milan before joining up at Spurs in 2021.
Stellini did serve as manager of Serie C side Alessandria, but won just twice in 14 games.
Tottenham will need better form than that in order to secure their top four place and Stellini did his reputation no harm earlier this term.
Conte will go away and take some time to rest, no doubt being linked with a host of Italian clubs in the process.
We’re not expecting Conte to be cheering on Tottenham, but he will be hoping for the best for Stellini as their friendship continues away from North London.
