PSG are reportedly plotting an outrageous scheme to sign Manchester City superstar Erling Haaland this summer to partner Kylian Mbappe for next season.
According to AS, the French giants believe they can secure a deal to sign the Norwegian international amid rumours that Haaland is not happy in the Premier League with City, that’s despite the striker scoring an incredible 28 goals in the division this season.
As per the report, PSG are keen to sign a superstar attacker to partner Mbappe having once again failed to go the distance in the UEFA Champions League, and Haaland is being viewed as the ideal option given just how prolific the 22-year-old has been in recent years.
With the French club’s Qatari-backed project now seemingly in the mud after their latest European disaster, a concrete plan is needed if PSG are to finally win the Champions League, and the new approach seems to be finding Mbappe’s ideal attacking partner.

Indeed, Lionel Messi and Neymar, whilst on paper, have had bright moments, it is clear that Mbappe needs a forward option that helps compliment his game, and Haaland could be perfect given just how prolific the City star is and what he could offer to PSG.

Should the French giants somehow sign Haaland this summer, a front three of Mbappe, the Norwegian and Messi could break football with how efficient such a frontline could be, though there is every chance that PSG might again stumble into problems that have stopped the club from winning Europe’s ultimate prize.
PSG signing Haaland would be QSI’s last throw of the UCL dice

QSI’s PSG project could be deemed by many as a failure given how much as been spent for the French side to not win the Champions League, let alone compete for the competition every single season. And signing Haaland could be viewed by many as the last throw of the dice for the club.
With supporters getting frustrated and a potential revolution on the cards if PSG don’t go all the way next season, signing Haaland will be the Parisian side’s last chance to win the Champions League, with the striker an ideal partner for Mbappe in the competition.
