Arsenal are ready to sell Alex Runarsson in the summer transfer window, according to a report.
The Sun have reported that Arsenal goalkeeper Runarsson is among a number of players that manager Mikel Arteta is ready to cash in on at the end of the season.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper is on loan at Alanyaspor in Turkey at the moment.
The Iceland international is scheduled to return to Arsenal at the end of the season.
Runarsson, described by Gunners’ Sporting Director Edu as a player who has “strong attributes” on the club’s official website in September 2020, is under contract at Arsenal until the summer of 2024.

HITC Verdict: Summer exit inevitable
In our opinion, Alex Runarsson will leave Arsenal at the end of the season.
For sure.
The goalkeeper has failed to make any impact at the Emirates Stadium, and after a loan spell at OH Leuven last season, he is on loan at Alanyaspor this season.
There is no need for Arsenal to have Runarsson on their books, and the Iceland international goalkeeper himself could fancy severing his ties with the Gunners and finding a club where he can progress and develop.
