Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United are interested in signing Djordje Petrovic from New England Revolution in the summer transfer window, according to The Mirror.
Liverpool and Manchester United eye Djordje Petrovic
The report has claimed that both Liverpool and Manchester United are planning bids for the 23-year-old goalkeeper at the end of the season.
Both the Reds and the Red Devils are on the hunt for a new goalkeeper.
United are in talks with David de Gea over a new deal, while Tom Heaton is out of contract at Old Trafford at the end of the season.
Alisson is the number one goalkeeper at Liverpool, but Caoimhin Kelleher could leave and Adrian will become a free agent at the end of the season.

Anfield or Old Trafford?
In our view, Djordje Petrovic would have a really tough decision to make regarding his future if Liverpool and Manchester United both bid for him in the summer transfer window.

And he is a regular for the New England Revolution.
At Liverpool or Manchester United, the youngster would be a back-up, at least initially.
Alisson is not going anywhere, while David de Gea remains one of the best goalkeepers around.
However, there is a better chance of Petrovic breaking into the first team at the Red Devils than at the Reds.
After all, United are in talks with De Gea over a new deal, and you never know how those negotiations will end.
