Leeds United are set to appoint Javi Gracia as their new manager after he really impressed the club with his video analysis during his interview.
That’s according to Sky Sports, who claim that Leeds were ‘really impressed’ with Gracia during talks over a potential move to Elland Road.
It’s claimed that Gracia had produced ‘detailed video analysis’ of some of Leeds’ fixtures this season, probably to try and show the Whites how he could implement his plans and correct some problems.
Leeds allegedly believe that Gracia is the right man for the job because of his history in the Premier League and keeping Watford in the top flight.
Sky Sports add that Leeds actually started talks to land Gracia two weeks ago, when they decided to sack Jesse Marsch.
Gracia is understood to be one of eight candidates Leeds interviewed and is now set to land the job at least until the end of the season.

This deal looks set to be confirmed by the end of the day with Leeds finally on the verge of appointing their new boss.
Gracia’s last job came in Qatar with Al Sadd, where he won the league title after replacing Xavi Hernandez.
The 52-year-old was previously with Valencia, where he only won 11 games in 38 but was in charge of – respectfully – a mess of a club.
Gracia kept Watford in the Premier League in two successive seasons and also took them to the FA Cup in 2019 before his sacking just a few months later.
Gracia also did a great job in testing circumstances at Malaga and his tough jobs over the years may leave Leeds confident that he can handle a relegation fight.
