Everton and West Ham are both reportedly interested in Juventus defender Federico Gatti, who in recent weeks has established himself as a key player for the Serie A giants.
Accoridng to SerieBNews, the 24-year-old defender is attracting interest from the Premier League duo after leaping from a ‘mysterious’ player in the Juventus squad to starting the last three games in central defence for Massimiliano Allegri’s side.
As per the report, Gatti’s emergence has ‘come out of nowhere’, yet despite the defender becoming a fixture for Juventus, the Old Lady could sell the Frosinone centre-back this summer, with the Italian believed to be worth €30m (£26m).
With Juventus in the midst of a financial scandal, there’s every chance that Gatti’s asking price could decrease if Allegri decides to drop the centre-back. And for Everton and West Ham, a potential bargain could be in the offering this summer.

Indeed, Gatti has impressed with his limited time in the Juventus starting XI this season, yet given the ever-changing nature of the team, there’s always a chance that the defender will drop down to the bench ahead of the final matches of the campaign.

And as a result, Everton or West Ham could find themselves in with a chance to sign Gatti, especially with Juventus keen to offload as many sellable assets as possible this summer to help with their ongoing financial situation that could plunge the Bianconeri back into the dark ages.
Juventus could be forced into Gatti sale amid Premier League interest

Gatti’s stock has risen considerably in a short space of time, with Juventus turning to the defender ahead of their UEFA Europa League quarter-final clash against Sporting and their remaining Serie A fixtures. Yet with money needed, the centre-back could be cashed in on amid Premier League interest.
Whether or not Everton or West Ham would be suitable clubs for Gatti is one thing, yet with the defender now on radars and impressing in each passing game, the 24-year-old could soon find himself heading to England if he continues to perform for Juventus.
