Liverpool may have another chance to sign Denis Zakaria as Chelsea seemingly plan to send the midfielder back to Juventus this summer.
Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio reported in August that Liverpool asked about signing Zakaria but no deal was done.
Zakaria did secure a Premier League move though as he completed a loan move to Chelsea.
The Reds ended up signing a different Juventus midfielder though as they took Arthur Melo on loan for the season.
That move hasn’t really worked for anyone as Arthur has made just one first-team appearance for Liverpool.
This loan move surely won’t turn into a permanent one for the Brazilian and it looks like Zakaria faces a similar fate.

Chelsea to axe Liverpool target Denis Zakaria
Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg claims that Zakaria is ‘likely to leave’ Chelsea at the end of the season.
The Blues aren’t planning to activate their option to buy and Zakaria is now set to return to Juventus this summer.

That purchase option stands at around £26million and Chelsea are seemingly avoiding the move and focusing on other midfield targets.
Zakaria, 26, has started just four Premier League games for Chelsea this season with another two substitute appearances to his name.
It hasn’t been much better in other competitions, with Zakaria playing just 74 minutes in the Champions League.
Graham Potter doesn’t appear to be completely sold on Zakaria and it’s unlikely that the Swiss ace will be a Chelsea player next season.
Juventus seemingly don’t have plans for Zakaria either given that they loaned him out this season and a summer move elsewhere seems likely.
Liverpool need to add a couple of midfielders this summer and Zakaria may well still be on the radar for the Reds.
The door is open for Liverpool if they still want Zakaria – branded ‘very complete’ by his former boss Marco Rose – and Chelsea’s imminent snub will give Jurgen Klopp and co something to think about.
