Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur will now face increased competition over the transfer of Benfica ace Antonio Silva. His rapid rise in Portugal has now caught the eye of Real Madrid.
That is according to TuttoMercatoWEB, which reports Real Madrid are keeping tabs on the 19-year-old. Los Blancos are keen to be alert to the best rising talents following Vinicius Jr, Edouard Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni’s successes and see him as their next gem.
Benfica president Manuel Rui Costa also knows the talent in his Liga Portugal club’s hands. Silva only made his senior debut in August yet has already featured in 30 first-team games and twice for Portugal. So, As Aguias will demand offers starting at €100m (£89m) for him.

Silva’s breakthrough campaign at Benfica has also convinced Antonio Conte to consider his transfer to Tottenham. Dean Jones reported the Spurs coach added the teenager to his list of targets last November. But European rivals have also shown varying degrees of interest.

Additionally, Fabrizio Romano reported in October that a transfer for Benfica talent Silva is of interest to Liverpool. Manchester United have kept tabs on the Portugal defender’s rise, as well. He made his Selecao debut ahead of the World Cup and played one game in Qatar.

Real Madrid are scouting Liverpool and Tottenham transfer target Silva of Benfica
Real Madrid are now scouting Silva’s performances for Benfica in view of a transfer against interest from Liverpool and Tottenham. Yet Costa should be a fierce negotiator if any team tries to sign the Viseu-born talent. He is also under contract in Lisbon through to June 2027.
Benfica rewarded Silva with a new contract last September following his senior debut. The Aguias product has since played 19 times in Liga Portugal as Roger Schmidt’s side top the table. He has also played seven ties in the Champions League and scored against Juventus.
