Aston Villa are interested in signing Kieran Tierney from Premier League rivals Arsenal in the summer transfer window, according to TEAMtalk.
Aston Villa inquire about Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney
The report has claimed that Aston Villa have inquired about signing Scotland international left-back Tierney from Arsenal.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has reportedly held face-to-face talks with the left-back and is undecided over letting him leave at the end of the season.
The report has added that, if he were to leave Arsenal, the former Celtic left-back Tierney would want to join a club where he would play European football.
This means that Villa are unlikely to be able to get Tierney, described as “an outstanding player” by Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers the club’s official website last month.
