Fenerbahce are reportedly keen to sign Lucas Moura this summer with the Turkish giants viewing the Tottenham forward as a key target in their quest to win the Turkish Super Lig.
According to Haber 7, the Brazilian attacker is emerging as a key target for the Istanbul-based side, with Fenerbahce keen to sign Lucas before the closure of the Turkish transfer window. However, a deal is now more likely in the summer when the winger leaves north London for free.
Lucas’ current contract with Tottenham is due to expire at the end of this season, and as a result, Fenerbahce could now be in a position to sign for the former PSG star for absolutely nothing, with Spurs set to recoup nothing on their £23m investment in the winger.
And with Fenerbahce now viewing Lucas as a player who could help them win the league title next season, the 30-year-old could find it very difficult to turn down a move to Turkey, who could be willing to pay a lot of money to sign the attacker this summer.

Indeed, Lucas has been heavily linked with a move back to Brazil having spent nearly a decade in Europe. However, this latest update from Turkey seemingly indicates that the forward could be set to move to Turkey with Fenerbahce offering such a prized role for the Tottenham attacker.

Having failed to win anything with the north London side despite some sensational moments with the club, Lucas could be ready to move to a team where silverware is more likely to be won, and Fenerbahce could offer just that given their ambition to win the Super Lig next season.
Lucas could want to sign for Fenerbache amid title talk

Players leaving Tottenham to go on to win silverware has become something of a meme at this stage, with Christian Eriksen the latest name to add a trophy to his cabinet having departed north London in 2020. And Lucas could well be next if the winger signs for Fenerbahce.
With the Turkish giants having big plans to go for the title next season, Lucas could be buoyed on to join Fener and guide the Istanbul-based side to the title, with the South American not winning anything in his career since his days at PSG.
