Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are set to miss out on Daichi Kamada with the playmaker on the verge of signing for Borussia Dortmund.
That’s according to Frankfurter Rundschau, who claim that Kamada is set to pen a five-year deal with Dortmund.
It’s stated that Kamada will earn around €6million-a-year at Dortmund, or around £100,000-a-week.
Bild claimed earlier today that Kamada had held a secret meeting with Dortmund to discuss a potential move.
It looks like talks went well as the Frankfurt-based media now expect a deal to be done.
Kamada had been linked with Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur but it looks like he will instead choose to stay in Germany.
The move means Kamada will follow in the footsteps of Shinji Kagawa in playing for Dortmund.

Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur miss out on Daichi Kamada
Kamada is out of contract this summer and was earning huge praise as a result.

Sponichi over in Kamada’s native Japan reported earlier in February that Tottenham were making moves to try and sign Kamada on free transfer – possibly a pre-contract agreement.
Barcelona were also named in that report whilst 90Min added that Liverpool, Newcastle and Manchester City are all keen too.
All of those clubs now look set to miss out with Dortmund managing to pull off something of a coup over the Premier League clubs.
Kamada, 26, has been outstanding this season with 13 goals and five assists in 30 games for Frankfurt.
An attacking midfielder with real end product in the final third, Kamada seemed like the kind of player Liverpool or Tottenham could use to great effect off the bench.
Yet it now looks like Dortmund are promising a bigger role at Signal Iduna Park and Kamada has been convinced to make the move.
It’s now unlikely that we will ever see Kamada in the Premier League, with Dortmund handing him a deal into his 30’s.
