It’s been more than two years since Star Wars fans last tuned in to a new episode of The Mandalorian and so it’s no surprise that many are eager to watch season 3 as soon as it arrives but when is the show’s exact release date and time on Disney+?

The adventures of Mando and Grogu have certainly been an emotional rollercoaster for fans as the season 2 finale saw Din Djarin bidding a tearful farewell to his adorable green companion as he was whisked away by Luke Skywalker to embark on his Jedi training, only for the pair to be joyously reunited in The Book Of Boba Fett spin-off.

Now, the unlikely duo are back for their long-awaited third season of galaxy-spanning adventures and as it’s been such a long time since we caught up with the pair, Star Wars fans are ready and waiting to delve into season 3 of The Mandalorian at the exact time it is released.

The Mandalorian season 3 plot preview

Season 3 of The Mandalorian is set to pick up the tale of Din Djarin after his rather large cameo in The Book Of Boba Fett saw him and Grogu reunite in emotional fashion after the adorable green alien elected to forego his Jedi training in order to be with his newfound Mandalorian father figure.

The galaxy is becoming an increasingly tumultuous place in the upcoming season as the New Republic is forced to contend with the growing threat from Imperial remnants.

However, Mando has more pressing matters at hand as he seeks to atone for removing his helmet to bid Grogu a tearful farewell, meaning that he must journey to the planet of Mandalore itself if he hopes to find redemption.

But after claiming the Darksaber in season 2, Mando has put himself in a complicated position as the legendary weapon is said to be the only thing that can unite the warring Mandalorian clans.
