Selena Gomez has released Rare Beauty’s newest item, the Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oil, and social media has ruled it as their new makeup favorite.
With countless celebrity makeup brands in the market, Selena Gomez has managed to keep things fresh with her inclusive brand.
Inspired by her third album, Rare, the makeup brand is known for its disability-friendly packaging design. Rare Beauty’s base products, such as blush and foundation, are designed with a sphere on the applicator so it is easier to open and hold. That being said, the company clarified that they did not conduct official tests for these claims.
Selena herself suffers from lupus, which can cause joint and muscle pains.
The brand went viral for its Soft Pinch Liquid Blush, so it only made sense for the singer to add another member to the Soft Pinch collection. Enter the Tinted Lip Oil.
Here’s what the beauty community had to say about it.

Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oil hailed for its consistency
A lip oil has been scored 10 out of 10 by makeup reviewers on TikTok. One makeup artist praised it for enhancing her natural lip color and giving a “healthy and juicy-looking lip”.
Another reviewer noted that it was surprisingly “cool to the touch” and had a refreshing feeling upon first application.
“This doesn’t feel sticky at all,” they said. “It’s so soft. I don’t know how to describe it other than it’s smooth.”
The product advertises its staying power and innovative technology that transforms the lip jelly consistency into a lightweight nourishing oil.
Since it is also a tint, it provides a wash of color without constant reapplication. The new lippie is modeled after the fan-favorite blush, so it comes in nude shades for the “my lips but better” look.
The eight shades are available on Sephora now and on Rare Beauty’s website from March 30.
Selena Gomez put an end to Hailey Bieber drama on Instagram
The Come And Get It singer has been embroiled in online drama over the last few weeks as the internet voted whether they were Team Selena or Team Hailey Bieber.
The two women were cruelly pitted against each other by their loyal fandoms, but after a wave of hate directed at Hailey, Selena ended things once and for all by begging fans to stop the death threats.
“This isn’t what I stand for. No one should have to experience hate or bullying,” she wrote on Instagram Story. “I’ve always advocated for kindness and really want this all to stop.”
Hailey, who is married to Selena’s ex Justin Bieber, thanked the actress for speaking out after weeks of discussions to “move past this ongoing narrative.” Both stars moved on years ago, but the internet has loved to blow things out of proportion.
