But their mother, Madhu, was present and on hand to take an inside picture from Parineeti’s “choora” ceremony.
The now deleted Instagram post showed Parineeti looking very happy as she smiled for the camera and showed off her “kaliras” on the sleeves of her traditional yellow suit.
Madhu wrote: “Happy bride at her choora ceremony.”
Despite the post being taken down for unknown reasons, it still appears on the fan account @parineeti_obsesses.
And Parineeti’s kaliras have continued to garner plenty of attention, with their true meaning having since been revealed.
Parineeti’s designer explained that her kaliras were not just a pretty ornament but also a symbol of her and Raghav’s unique love story
Taking to social media, Mrinalini Chandra wrote: “At first glance, the Kalira appears to be dainty ornaments cascading from the bangle.
“However, its true beauty lies in the underlying story it conveys—a tale of love.”
Each element of the kaliras were chosen with care to represent Parineeti’s amd Raghav’s journey together.

The kaliras appear delicate at first glance, but they hold a deeper meaning.
The couple had announced their wedding via social media, sharing some of the best pictures from their special day.
Labelled the “wedding of the year”, they were married in a private ceremony in front of their closest friends and family.
Shortly after, Parineeti revealed her unique gift for her new husband at their wedding.
Parineeti – who is also a very talented singer – decided to record a new song as a unique gift to husband Raghav.
And in the days since, footage of their special day has been revealed.
That includes the touching moment Raghav first saw his blushing bride at their star-studded wedding.
In an adorable Instagram post, Parineeti wrote: “To my husband …
“The most important song I’ve ever sung .. walking towards you, hiding from the baraat, singing these words … what do I even say .. O piya, chal chalein aa.”
The video alongside her tribute showed the exact moment Chadra saw his wife in her wedding dress as she made the way down the aisle.
Chadra let her know how stunning she looked with a sweet gesture before they shared hugs as she reached the altar.
