Leicester City have decided to sack boss Brendan Rodgers amid speculation linking him with Tottenham Hotspur.
The Foxes lost yet again on Saturday afternoon, falling to a 2-1 defeat away at Crystal Palace.
Leicester were 1-0 up but contrived to concede twice and lose the game, leaving them in real relegation peril.
That’s now one point from the last six games for Leicester and they now sit 18th in the Premier League table.
Leicester are in serious danger of going down and the Foxes have confirmed that Rodgers has left the club by mutual consent.
Rodgers is leaving with immediate effect with coaches Chris Davies and Glen Driscoll also leaving alongside the Northern Irishman.
Leicester seriously fear dropping into the Championship and seemingly believe a change of manager can save them.

The news of Rodgers’ exit comes amid rumours surrounding his future – but not centred around a sacking.

TalkSPORT reported in March that Tottenham Hotspur are big fans of Rodgers.
It was suggested that Spurs admire Rodgers and that his style of play is what Tottenham are seeking from their next boss.
Daniel Levy has been a fan of the former Liverpool boss for more than 10 years now.
Rodgers told The Times way back in 2013 that he snubbed the chance to replace Harry Redknapp as Tottenham boss in 2012.
Rodgers chose Liverpool instead and Tottenham went with Andre Villas-Boas instead.
The 50-year-old is now available after his axe from Leicester but his sacking will bring up questions about whether he is really right for Spurs.
Antonio Conte has gone and Tottenham are weighing up their options, but fans would surely question a move for Rodgers after this development.
