POWER Rangers voice actor Dave Mallow has died at 76 after a health battle that reportedly lasted years.
Mallow was best known for voicing Baboo in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
He died on Tuesday while living in hospice care.
The iconic voice actor was living at the MonteCedro Senior Living Community in Altadena, California, at the time he died.
Dorothy Fahn, a fellow voice actor and Mallow’s former co-worker, announced his death.
“Just found out our old VO friend Dave Mallow has passed away at age 76,” Fahn wrote on Instagram.
“We knew him since ‘Honeybee Hutch.’ May he rest in peace.”
Mallow’s former co-worker said the actor struggled with his health in recent years, according to TMZ.
Aside from voicing Baboo, Mallow provided voices for legendary monsters, including Pudgy Pig, Lizzinator, Terror Blossom, and Beamcaster on the show.
The actor worked on 138 episodes on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers from 1993 to 1999.
He appeared on other shows in the franchise including Power Rangers in Space, Power Rangers Wild Force, and Power Rangers Zeo.
Mallow’s death comes years after his Mighty Morphin Power Rangers co-star Jason David Frank died over two years ago.
Frank played Tommy Oliver, the Green Ranger, on the show.
He died by suicide at age 49 in November 2022.
Other Mighty Morphin Power Rangers stars tragically passed away in the years before Mallow and Frank’s deaths.
Robert Axelrod, who voiced Lord Zedd in the show, died aged 70 in 2019 from complications after a spinal surgery.
Thuy Trang, who voiced the original Yellow Ranger, was killed in a car accident in 2001 at age 27.
