After more than a year of waiting, Outer Banks has returned to Netflix, and this time, the cast is stranded on Poguelandia. The series follows a gang of rebellious teens known as the Pogues, consisting of John B Routledge (Chase Stokes), Sarah Cameron (Madelyn Cline), Kiara “Kie” Carrera (Madison Bailey), Pope Heyward (Jonathan Daviss), and JJ Maybank (Rudy Pankow).
The season 2 finale saw the gang fail to retrieve the lost Cross of Santo Domingo after an intense fight for survival on the Coastal Venture ship. Outer Banks’ Sofia: Age and ethnicity of Fiona Palomo
Born October 12, 1998 as Fiona Alexa Palomo, she is best known for portraying Maria Alexander on Netflix’s Mexican teen drama, Control Z.
The 24-year-old actress is of Mexican descent and is fluent in Spanish. She followed her parents‘ footsteps into the entertainment industry: her mother is the Mexican actress and singer Carina Ricco, and her father is the late actor, Eduardo Palomo.
Eduardo passed away in November 2003 in Los Angeles from a heart attack. Fiona Palomo also has a brother called Luca, who is a musician.
The actress made her industry debut in 2013 as Vivi San Roman in the Mexican adaptation of Gossip Girl, titled Gossip Girl Acapulco. Overall, she has appeared in nine productions, including the 2022 movie, ¡Qué Despadre!, alongside Mauricio Ochmann.

Who is Outer Banks’ Sofia?
Netflix unveiled Sofia in June 2022, six months after Outer Banks was renewed for season 3. Andy McQueen and Lou Ferrigno Jr will also be joining Fiona as Carlos Singh and Ryan, respectively.
Sofia as a “young, scrappy woman who identifies as a Pogue but wishes to be a Kook.”
The show suggests that she will form a close relationship with Drew Starkey’s character, Rafe, hinting at the reckless teen’s first romance since his season 1 debut.
