Rudy, 24, is reportedly 6ft (1.83m). He frequently films with Chase Stokes and it is clear that the friends are similar in height. Somehow, his impressive height hasn’t impressed any female character on the show. He’s three seasons in, yet JJ is still starved of a romance plot – we’re rooting for you, Kiara and JJ.

According to fans on Reddit, casting calls for JJ Maybank specified a Caucasian male aged between 18-30 years old, with shaggy blond or dirty blond hair. The requested height was allegedly between 5ft 9in – 5ft 11in, meaning that Rudy exceeded expectations.
How tall are the other Outer Banks cast members?
Pogues ringleader Chase Stokes is visibly the tallest leading actor. At 6ft 1in, he towers above his on-screen love interest and IRL ex-girlfriend Madelyn Cline, who is about 5ft 6in. Although that is two inches about the average US female height, their difference in photos is still astounding.

Jonathan Daviss matches up to Pankow at 6ft, as well as the rumored requirements. Pope was envisioned to be an African American male after with short black hair between the ages 18 – 30. The height was specified to be 5ft 11in – 6ft 1in.
As for Madison Bailey, she stands at 5ft 8in, which is evident when standing next to her male co-stars. The role of Kiara was reportedly visualized for a female of mixed ethnicity of African American descent with a light complexion; preferably wavy long dark brown or black hair; and 5ft 7in – 5ft 9in.
