Pundit Don Hutchison has defended Declan Rice, who has widely been linked with a transfer to Arsenal in a series of tweets.
Simon Jordan suggested that while Rice is a quality player, he is becoming wildly overrated, due to the £120 million price tag associated with his exit while Roy Keane said the same about him.

The 24-year-old has always had his fair share of critics, despite being one of the most well-liked players in the Premier League due to his rise at West Ham, his dominant on-pitch displays and his bubbly personality.
Those that are not fans of Rice tend to slaughter him constantly and label him as a classic case of ‘another overhyped English talent.

“D. Rice is so underrated in my opinion (not just because he scored)”

“It’s funny because Twitter know-it-all’s think he is average. You wait till the summer when teams are bidding £70million. I trust my eyes and other managers when they will bid. So, they must think he is decent, eh?
“I think he is and could be top drawer.”
Pundit Don Hutchison makes a fair point as while the transfer fee associated with Arsenal target Declan Rice may be excessive, his quality cannot be questioned one bit.
The best way Rice can prove that he is the real deal is by signing for a Champions League club next season and showcasing his minerals on the highest stage.
