Ian Wright says it’s ‘not worked’ for Arsenal transfer target Michael Olise at Premier League strugglers, Crystal Palace.
The Arsenal legend added that Patrick Vieira’s Palace are missing Conor Gallagher in a ‘massive’ way after the midfielder returned to his parent club, Chelsea, in the summer.
It’s a bit of a mystery at Palace, they have some serious attacking quality at their disposal, but they can’t score a goal for love or money.

Over the course of the season, Olise himself has scored two goals in 25 Premier League games, added with five assists.
Given that he only turned 21 in December, you would give the versatile forward the benefit of the doubt that he is going to improve, with Arsenal looking at the player.
But as Ian Wright mentioned, things aren’t clicking for Palace, as he mentioned the likes of Conor Gallagher and Michael Olise, as he told Premier League Productions.
“Conor Gallagher was a massive miss, in terms of a loan, they tried to make that happen and they couldn’t afford him,” said Wright. “He was like two players for Palace.

“They have tried with Michael Olise and it’s not quite worked with him – they have tried to compensate with different players for Conor Gallagher, but they can’t replicate what he does because he is such a great player for them.”

OLISE IS STILL A TOP TALENT
Given Olise’s young age, he is going to have up-and-down moments in his career, and so far, his confidence is on the floor.
A player of composure and top technical talent, it will be interesting to see how far he goes in his career and which country he represents.
Born in London, Olise has the opportunity to represent England, if he wishes. But, during his career so far, he has represented France at the younger age groups.
