As the train strikes continue in Britain, find out if there are any scheduled on April 11th 12th, 13th or 14th 2023.
The latest round due to take place on March 30 and April 1 was suspended as the Rail, Marine and Transport union (RMT) is in talks with the Rail Delivery Group.
Train bosses put an offer on the table which “could” lead to a resolution and resolve the current dispute through a new pay offer, the union revealed on March 22.
However, they assured everyone that whilst they are trying to secure a new offer on pay, job security, and working conditions, the dispute remains on.

No, there are no train strikes on Tuesday, April 11, Wednesday, April 12, Thursday, April 13 or Friday, April 14.
Your railway journeys won’t be impacted by any industrial action on those days and trains should be running to their usual timetables.

Engineering work may affect April journeys
The only thing that could affect trains throughout April is planned engineering works on multiple railway lines across Britain.
Network Rail is telling everyone to check before they travel this Spring as essential improvement work is being carried out across the network.
There will be disruption to services on many routes during the Easter bank holiday weekend and first May bank holiday weekend.
This includes Friday, April 7 to Monday, April 10 and Friday, April 28 to Monday, May 1 2023. Use the Journey Planner to see if your journey is affected.

Key improvement work over Easter
Here are the main routes which are affected by engineering work over the April bank holiday:
- London Victoria: Southern services will not call at London Victoria and may be diverted to London Bridge as Network Rail are modernising the track and signalling on some lines.
- London Euston: No trains will run to or from London Euston over Easter and the West Coast Main Line will be closed up to Milton Keynes Central.
- Tunbridge Wells to Hastings: The line will be closed over the whole Easter weekend and until Sunday, April 16 due to major work to stabilise earthworks and replace worn track.
- Carstairs: Ongoing long term improvement work will disrupt Easter journeys between Carlisle, Glasgow Central and Edinburgh.
If engineering work is taking place, rail replacement buses will replace trains on the route.
