THE remaining members of rock legends Nirvana reunited last night for FireAid, with fans going wild.
Not only did the band get back together for the charity event, but drummer Dave Grohl brought out a very special guest who some thought “channeled their inner Kurt Cobain”.
Following the wildfires that raged through Los Angeles earlier this month, some of the biggest names in music came together for a benefit concert in Inglewood on Thursday night.
One of the many highlights was when the remaining members of Nirvana reunited onstage to play the band’s songs once again.
The line-up included drummer Dave Grohl, bassist Krist Novoselic, rhythm guitarist Pat Smear.
The band was founded in 1987 by lead singer and guitarist Kurt Cobain before his tragic death in 1994.
Joining the remaining three members was a rotating front line featuring some “badass women”.
St. Vincent, Kim Gordon and Joan Jett, each stepped in for the late Nirvana frontman.
But it was the final woman arriving on-stage who left viewers totally gobsmacked.
Dave Grohl brought out his daughter Violet, who is just 18.
During the set, the group played a several Nirvana songs with their guest artists.
St. Vincent took on Breed, Kim Gordon sang School, Joan Jett performed Territorial P***ings, while Violet Grohl same on for All Apologies.
Reacting to Violet’s performance, fans went wild on X, with many saying how the performance left them in tears.
FANS IN TEARS
“Violet Grohl signing All Apologies with Nirvana has me cryinggggg. So so so good,” penned one.
Another added: “Violet Grohl singing Nirvana’s All Apologies with Foo Fighters was super cool. She’s got it.”
“Violet Grohl just channeled Kurt Cobain…never thought I’d hear a version like that of All Apologies live again,” wrote a third.
While a fourth added: “I love this random Nirvana set in the middle of the FireAid benefit.
“I will always love that when these three guys get together to play that they bring in badass women to fill in for Kurt.
