BOBBIE Jean Carter, the sister of Nick and Aaron Carter, has died from a drug overdose.
Bobbie Jean’s death was due to the combined effects of methamphetamine and fentanyl, according to the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner in Florida.
Bobbie Jean died on December 23, 2023, at the age of 41.
Her roommate found her unresponsive on the bathroom floor and immediately called 911.
Her death was determined as accidental, per legal documents obtained by TMZ.
The news came just over a year after her brother Aaron’s tragic passing.
Aaron was found dead in the bathtub of his home in Lancaster, California on November 5, 2022.
According to the medical examiner’s report on Bobbie Jean’s death, first responders attempted life-saving measures when arriving on the scene.
She was pronounced dead at 8:02 am after being transported to a hospital in Tampa.
Bobbie Jean was on probation for a drug-related charge at the time.
Jane Carter confirmed her daughter’s death to TMZ, saying, “I am in shock from learning of the sudden death of my daughter, Bobbie Jean.
“And I will need time to process the terrible reality of this happening for the third time.
“When I am able to think clearly, I’ll release a fuller statement; but until then I would request to be left to grieve in private.”
She continued, “However deeply a parent feels the loss of a child, the suffering of a young child at the loss of a parent must be much greater.
“So, I would ask the sympathetic to say a prayer for my precious eight-year-old granddaughter Bella, who previously lost her father and is now also left without her mother.”
