MIRANDA Lambert fans think the cryptic lyrics to her new divorce song, Alimony, is a message to her husband, Brendan McLoughlin.
The song was released after Brendan was seen grinding on other women last month.
Miranda Lambert posted a video of the country singer performing her new song Alimony on Monday night.
The video included a compilation of the Wranglers singer at multiple shows.
Her new song, which is part of her upcoming album Postcards from Texas, included lyrics about a woman seeking spousal support after choosing to divorce her husband.
A few of the lyrics read, “Just know as soon as you get caught / They’ll all be good as mine.
“And you’re gonna love how this all works out / ‘Cause it all works out for me / What’s mine is mine, and what’s yours is mine.”
The song concluded, “If you’re gonna be a dumba** / Honey, I hope you remember the alimony.”
Fans took to her comment section to share their thoughts.
Some believe the lyrics are meant to be “a message” to Brendan after he was caught grinding on other women last month.
“I feel like this is a message to Brenden,” said one fan.
“He helped write it,” agreed another.

Brendan was seen last month dancing with multiple women at his wife’s bar, Casa Rosa, in Nashville, Tennessee.
The video was posted and deleted on TikTok.
Throughout the video, a woman was seen with her arms wrapped around the former NYPD officer’s neck and caressed his face.
An eyewitness exclusively spoke to The U.S. Sun, saying, “It was hours of him acting like this.”
