As mentioned earlier, the game is a real-time strategy experience rather than another dungeon crawler spin-off. IGN’s review gave it a 7/10 proclaiming that it ‘is an engaging strategy game that does a great job streamlining a notoriously complex genre without sacrificing the ever-important element of choice and consequence’.
Does it have crossplay?
Minecraft Legends is crossplay, and it supports cross platform multiplayer between PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
In addition to crossplay, there is also cross-platform progression which means you can carry your progress between different systems such as PC to Nintendo Switch. If you play on Xbox or PC, the especially good news is that you can get the game free if you are an Xbox Game Pass subscriber.
For PlayStation and Xbox, the game is available on PS4 and Xbox One in addition to PS5 and Series X/S. You will be able to play friends in the same console sphere regardless of whether you’re on last or current-gen.
