Mike Tyson was seen sporting a MAGA hat during the Jake Paul VS Tommy Fury fight, but he is not supporting Donald Trump’s ‘make America Great Again.’
Jake Paul VS Tommy Fury’s fight has been creating excitement among the audience as they are eager to see who will take home the win.
Tommy, who is the younger brother of Tyson Fury, has had quite a few wins under his bag, but Jake is also not far behind.
Mike Tyson’s MAGA hat confuses people
During the fight, Tyson was seen wearing a MAGA hat. At first glance, one would think he is endorsing Trump as his slogan stands for ‘Make America Great Again.’
However, if you look carefully, you will notice that Tyson’s hat reads “Make Africa Great Again.” At the same time, the latter “A” in MAGA also has a layout of Africa in it.
The subtle dig toward the former President was missed by many as they were convinced he was supporting Trump.

Tommy and Jake are all set to go against each other but one person that stole all the attention was Mike Tyson who was spotted wearing a MAGA hat.
It did not take long for the confusion to make its way to Twitter.
One user wrote: “Why’s Mike Tyson wearing a MAGA hat???” Another added: “Am I seeing things or was Mike Tyson wearing a MAGA hat?”

“No way is Mike Tyson wearing a MAGA hat lmao,” noted one more. “Mike Tyson with the MAGA hat on at the fight. I have no words,’ wrote another.
However, they were a few who were quick to applaud Tyson for his subtle dig as one wrote: “Mike Tyson tricked me for a second. It said make AFRICA great again. Lol.”
Another added: “Mike Tyson trolling trump with a Make Africa Great Again hat on at the.”
“To clarify, Mike Tyson’s MAGA hat is ‘Make Africa Great Again’ Yeh, I had to look twice, too…”
He did endorse Donald Trump in 2020
Back in 2020, Tyson did endorse Trump while he ran for Presidency.
He said at that time: “He should be president of the United States. “Let’s try something new. Let’s run America like a business, where no colors matter. Whoever can do the job, gets the job.”
“I would [endorse him], yeah. I like Trump.” However, he also confessed that some of Trump’s words were “crude.”
Tyson’s new hat shenanigans come months after Trump announced his presidency for the 2024 elections.
