Michael Owen says reported Arsenal transfer target Wilfried Zaha is ‘one of the most talented’ in the Premier League.
The Crystal Palace winger was in north London over the weekend when Arsenal breezed past Zaha’s managerless side on Sunday in the Premier League.
Whilst Zaha was causing issues when driving forward with the ball, including coming very close to opening the scoring before Gabriel Martinelli, he was slammed by Emmanuel Petit for his lack of actions without the ball.

Over the course of the season, the 30-year-old has six Premier League goals to his name for a Palace side that haven’t won in their last 12 league games and are hovering above the relegation zone.
Zaha’s contract runs out in the summer and he is expected to leave. There is even talk about a possible move to the Emirates.
Nonetheless, when talking about the talent at Zaha’s boots, Michael Owen lauded the player, but he was left baffled by why Palace can’t make it work, as he told Premier League Productions (19/03/23 at 1:15 pm).
“You look at some of the Crystal Palace players and you think ‘oh talent’,” said Owen. “Zaha, one of the most talented players in the Premier League.

“Olise, then you have Eze. You have really talented individual players.
“Then, when you look at the actual numbers, I think Zaha is the top goalscorer with six goals. It’s just not enough.”

ONE LAST CHANCE FOR ZAHA
The all-action forward was just a fresh-faced youngster when he joined Manchester United, but it was a case of the wrong move at the wrong time.
That hasn’t helped his cause, but since returning to Selhurst Park, he has continued to cook.
If Zaha wants that last chance of playing for the best and against the best, then now is the time to make that move because he is deserving of it.
