Michael Owen reacts as Arsenal win to keep Manchester City at bay

Michael Owen has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal beating Bournemouth at the Emirates Stadium after Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City defeated Newcastle United at the Etihad Stadium.

Arsenal came from two goals down to get the better of Bournemouth 3-2 at the Emirates Stadium in North London in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Earlier on Saturday, depending champions Manchester City beat Newcastle 2-0 at home in the league.

The results mean that Arsenal are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 63 points with 26 matches.

Manchester City are second with 58 points from 26 games.

Big win for the Gunners

It was not easy for Arsenal to win against Bournemouth, but they got the job done in the end.

The Gunners needed a late winner.

And they scored all three of their goals in the second half.

While you have to ask why Arsenal were 2-0 down in the first place, we must not ignore the fact that the North London club won in the end.

And that is what matters now.
