Marcus King is married to the love of his life, Briley Hussey, who is a star in her own right. The country singer and his wife tied the knot over the weekend after being engaged for a year.
The newlywed couple thought through their wedding a lot to make it a memorable experience for life – from their wedding rings to the dress, some thought went behind each one of them.
Marcus, 26, and his wife Briley, 31, share an age gap of 4 years.
Who is Briley Hussey?
Briley is a talented singer and social media influencer, who is originally from Carolinas.
She has more than 58,000 followers on TikTok, where she often shares singing videos with Marcus, apart from her regular content surrounding music and fashion.
Briley’s Instagram account shows pictures of her performing live at stadiums and different venues. Her bio has “Little Bird” written in it, a pet name given by her husband after their first meeting.
The singer’s latest Instagram stories are filled with updates about her and Marcus’ wedding which took place at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Her TikTok account which goes by the handle @kidsmealsupreme has posts highlighting the events leading to their extravagant wedding, including the bridal shower and bachelorette party.
Her last public appearance with the country music star was at the CMAs 2022.

Marcus King recollects meeting his wife
In a conversation with PEOPLE, Marcus recollected the sweet memory of him meeting his future wife on a bus which made him fall in love “hard” with her.
“She waltzed up on my bus like she owned it, and I was taken with her sweet southern drawl. She asked to connect to the Bluetooth, blared Linda Ronstadt and Aretha Franklin and we sang and danced till it was time for the bus to leave. I told her the next morning to quit her job and marry me instead,” the country musician said.
He called Briley “little bird’ after their first encounter, so the couple had Leah Blevins perform the song of the same name during their wedding ceremony.
The couple got engaged in February 2022. Alongside the pictures of their engagement, Briley wrote in the caption: “Mrs. king sure has a nice ring to it.”
Jamey Johnson officiates the wedding ceremony
Briley and Marcus’ wedding ceremony was officiated by Jamey Johnson, the Country Music Hall of Fame artist.
While the bride wore a Rita Vinieris-designed gown from Adorn Nashville, the groom went with a tux by Jukebox Mama, paired with Lucchese cowboy boots and a cowboy hat from Lone Hawk Hats.
For something borrowed, Briley used a handkerchief that belonged to her great-grandmother to wrap her bouquet.
PEOPLE reports, after the wedding party concluded, the guests received trucker hats from Texas-based Uncle Bekah’s Inappropriate Trucker Hats as special gifts while heading home.
