Enock Agyei, who is currently on loan at Mechelen has said that the reason why he signed for Burnley was because of Vincent Kompany.
The 18-year-old is a talented right winger by trade but is seemingly not considered ready to play for the Championship side just yet.
However, Enock Agyei has expressed his positive outlook on signing for Burnley, while citing the influence of Vincent Kompany in convincing him to make the switch.

The £131,000-a-week [Sports Grail] man has transformed the Clarets singlehandedly, as they sit well clear at the top of the table and play one of the most attractive styles of football in England.
It seems Kompany’s vision always led many to foresee his success, which is why he was able to attract young prospects like Ian Maatsen and Taylor Harwood-Bellis to the club in the first place.

Another youngster who was attracted by the prospect of signing for Burnley is Enock Agyei due to Vincent Kompany factor, as he told Belgian media outlet Walfoot, “There were several offers, but at Burnley, Vincent [Kompany] made the difference with the rest of his team: Craig Bellamy, Floribert Ngalula, Bram Geers…I know them all from Anderlecht.”

“If the coach thinks I’m not ready for the Premier League yet, I won’t be disappointed. Fortunately, I signed a four-year contract, which gives me confidence. Development is important. I want to be ready as soon as Kompany wants to field me.”

The Manchester City icon is one of the most exciting up-and-coming managers in Europe.
Taking that into consideration, not just Enock Agyei but a host of other bright talents are likely to favour a transfer to Burnley just because of how much Vincent Kompany brings to the table.
