Love Island viewers slammed Catherine for giving advice to Tyrique about Ella after she was so ‘disrespectful to Scott’.
During the latest episode on Friday night, Catherine and Whitney told Tyrique that he needed to ‘try and do the right thing by talk about it’ with Ella instead of baiting her by flirting with Kady.
It comes after Ella returned to the main villa from Casa Amor earlier in the week with Ouzy leaving Tyrique single and Catherine did similar by leaving Scott single by coupling up with Elom.
ITV2 fans quickly took to Twitter to call Catherine out for the ‘irony’ and joked that it is the ‘blind leading the blind’.
One penned: ‘I’m sorry what position is Catherine in to call Tyrique out for his behaviour? Blind leading the Blind.’

Another added: ‘Lmao Catherine said Ty should be respectful. When she was disrespectful to Scott. The flipping irony.’
A fourth said: ‘If Catherine can notice how bad this ty/Ella mess is, how come she lacks so much self awareness about how bad she treated Scott?’

Tyrique later spoke with Ella asking her why she didn’t just pull him for a chat instead of calling him out for flirting with Kady, to make her jealous, in front of the other islanders.
He also gushed that he still wants Ella, he said in the beach hut: ‘I still like Ella a lot, this is the only way I see me having to do’.
The pair later kissed and made up around the fire pit and are going to give their relationship another chance.
