LOVE After Lockup fans have shared their brutally honest opinions about the newest season of the reality show.
The show began in January 2018 on WE TV and is currently airing its fifth season.

Love After Lockup is a reality TV series that documents the romantic lives of two people. However, one person in the relationship is a newly released felon.
WE TV’s synopsis of the show stated: “Couples meet their potential future spouses for the first time once the bars are removed from the relationship. The way is full of bumps — and some strong emotions — along its rocky road, but these inmates are tasting freedom for the first time in a long while.”
Season five follows Melissa and Louis, Britney and Kerok, Raneka and Asonta, Brittney and Andy, Chelsea and Michael, Joynomi and Redd, Sharae and Anthony.
FAN REACTIONS
However, as the season continued, many fans weren’t too thrilled.
They didn’t hold back on how “boring” they thought the show had become, especially with this season’s cast members.
“This is boring,” one fan wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Another watcher said: “The producers for #loveafterlockup drop the ball a lot when it comes to following some couples.”
“Where’s all the ppl we know like Michael and his girl lol these folks boring,” someone else said.

The fan above was referencing Michael, 30, and Justine Persaud, 27, from a previous season.

Michael – also known as Montana Millz – and Justine were featured in a few episodes during season four and are from Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
Michael has been in and out of prison since he was 15 years old.
Michael’s recent incarceration was for drug charges.
The couple met through a prison pen pal organization and had their ups and downs during their journey as a couple.
Despite their differences, they seem happier than ever.
After Michael was released from prison, Justine found out that she was pregnant. This would be their first child together.
Michael has four kids while Justine has three from previous relationships.
Love After Lockup airs on Fridays at 9 p.m. EST on WE TV.
