FARGO’S Lamorne Morris sobbed into his shirt after he was told about his Emmy nomination.
While the moment was sweet, fans were left laughing at his daughter’s response.
Lamorne shared a sweet video of the moment he was told he was nominated for an Emmy Award.
He captioned the post, “When I got the call about the Emmy nomination, my daughter thought it would be great to make fun of me.”
The video showed his daughter, Lily, asking the New Girl star, “Daddy, are you crying again?”
Fans were quick to laugh at the sweet exchange, with one fan commenting, “Oh d*** wow, you were actually really crying meanwhile Lily was making fun of you, lol.”
“Congrats bro! Also She said again. What else you been crying about?” said actor Keraun Harris.
“Nah she said ‘again’ lmaoooo you putting that house through h***,” wrote a fan on X.
“The point and laugh is CRAZYYY,” wrote another.
While many laughed at the video, others congratulated the actor for his hard work.
Lamorne was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthony Series or Movie for his role as Deputy Witt Farr in FX’s Fargo.
“It’s so lovely to see this means so much to you! As it should. You’ve been at this for so long and, as I said to you when I introduced myself to you when we first met, I’m such a fan of yours. This is so well deserved. Congratulations, Lamorne!!” wrote Rick Glassman.

In an interview with hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager, Lamorne got candid about the touching moment.
“I love this video for so many reasons,” Jenna commented.
“You’re teaching your beautiful daughter that it’s okay to have an open heart.”

“100 percent,” Lamorne agreed adding, “I think it’s beneficial for young kids to understand the differences between the two and that’s okay to cry, whether you’re sad or happy.
“There are times where she’ll see my cry maybe if I’m sad or because I lost someone and she’s trying to understand what that means.
“And in this occasion, because I’m laughing and crying she’s confused and making fun of me.”
SINGLE DAD LIFE
In the interview with the Today hosts, Lamorne revealed he was a single father to three-year-old Lily.
“She kinda has me wrapped around her finger,” the Woke actor shared.
“I try to be like ‘No, this is not how this is going down.’ but it always goes down the way she wants it to go down.”
He touched on an instance when Lily told her famous dad that she loved him.
Lamorne said the moment was “unprompted” and came out of nowhere.
“I said ‘Oh my God’ and I picked her up and then she whispers in my ear ‘Can I have some donuts now?”
