Boxing continues to be a never-ending source of drama as the KSI and Jake Paul beef intensifies, with commentator Wade Plem roped in.
Less than a month after the Jake Paul-Tommy Fury showdown, another YouTuber-turned boxer is in the limelight. KSI, known as a co-creator of the Sidemen, is also embroiled in seemingly never-ending beef with Jake Paul, after challenging him to a match.
But now boxing commentator Wade Plemons, known as Wade Plem, has been roped into the drama. Here’s a rundown of what happened between Paul, KSI, and now Plem.

KSI brands Wade Plem ‘fake’ after Jake Paul commentary
Shortly after Jake Paul lost to Tommy Fury last month, KSI challenged both the YouTube creator and the Love Island star to a match.
Commentator Wade Plem, who has hosted on KSI’s Misfits Boxing channel, made comments on his podcast, The WADE Concept, which angered KSI. Plem hyped up the potential rematch of Paul v Fury, suggesting that it would generate more pay-per-view (PPV) buys than Paul v KSI.
“This man acts like he knows everything about boxing. He doesn’t know s***,” KSI tweeted of Plem. “You’re not that guy. Can’t believe Sharky let this snake into my box. F*** off.” KSI then continued ranting to Twitter: “This Wade guy plays all sides. Trying to please everyone. You are so fake, omg. F*** you and everything you stand for, you two-faced ****. F*** Wade man.”
The tweets have since been deleted. Instead, KSI put out a brief statement about his Twitter “outburst.”
“To you it’s an overreaction but to me it’s a build up of a lot of things behind the scenes,” KSI wrote.
Even Jake Paul, a known Twitter provocateur, raised his eyebrows at KSI’s comments about Wade Plem.
“Such insecure clowns,” Paul tweeted. “Wade is quality. Plays it down the middle. Says things about me I don’t like, but that just means he’s keeping his opinions real. Now back to my vacation.”

But KSI quickly fired back with receipts. The Sidemen star unearthed a tweet of Paul’s from just last month which urged people to “get rid of anyone that plays both sides.”
KSI clarifies thoughts on tag team boxing
When asked to specify what it was that sports commentator Wade Plem had allegedly done, besides make comments on the Paul v Fury 2 match, KSI touched on Plem’s tag team boxing comments.
“The initial hatred towards the tag team boxing that he put out publicly but privately loved the idea,” KSI explained. “He literally just says and does what the public wants to hear.”
This month saw KSI’s Misfits Boxing launch the concept of tag team boxing. On Saturday, March 4, boxing history was made as the first tag team match was held. MF & DAZN: X Series 005 was hosted at the Telford International Centre. It saw Luis Alcarez Pineda and BDave face off against Ice Poseidon and Anthony Vargas.
Shortly after KSI’s Twitter “outburst” was made public, Wade Plem shared his own thoughts on KSI’s comments.
“My opinions around the tag team idea was never ‘Hate’,” Plem explained in a tweet. “I had concerns over it’s safety and ruleset, and I needed to see it happen (sic).” Plem then continues to state that he aired such concerns prior then changed his opinion after the tag team idea was proven safe. “I’m not sure where JJ [KSI] is getting this but ‘behind the scenes’ I said the same thing.”
Plem then continued to admit that he ruffles “some feathers at Misfits [Boxing]” but that he has remained true to himself online and in person. “My opinions of a potential fight don’t reflect my opinion of you as a person or a fight,” Plem tweeted directed to KSI. “I’ve always respected you as both.”
