April Fools is just a day away, so it’s hard to believe most things you come across on the Internet, especially Krispy Kreme’s announcement about bringing back Pumpkin Spice donuts to its menu in 2023.
After Krispy Kreme’s free green donuts for Saint Patrick’s Day, many are hoping that the restaurant isn’t joking about the iconic dish, even though the occasion calls for it.
However, the majority of them are skeptical at the same time!
Krispy Kreme posted a picture of the original Pumpkin Spice glazed donuts on its official Instagram handle a couple of hours ago today, captioned as: “Soooo…Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed. Kidding not kidding. 4/1 & 4/2.”
It was brought back last year in August, along with a few other items such as the Pumpkin Spice Original Filled Cheesecake Doughnut, and the Pumpkin Spice Cake Doughnut.
As much as one wants to believe that the menu item’s return is plausible in April 2023, the dates on which Krispy Kreme claims to sell them have left many skeptical.
No other details regarding the price or availability have been revealed by the restaurant, at the time of writing. If you’re still in doubt, we suggest you check with your local outlet if the iconic donut really is available on April Fools‘ Day.
Fans are convinced it’s an April Fools’ Day prank
Perhaps, people would be convinced that the deal is real, had it not been accompanied by the confusing caption.
But, most don’t want to get their hopes high, especially on a day when the chances of you getting fooled are sky high.

One wrote: “This better be true or quit playing games with my heart.”

A third person wrote: “It’s not fall yet, so I refuse to believe this isn’t a prank.”
“This is an April Fools’ joke for sure,” tweeted another.
Try minis from the Spring menu
Only time will tell if the Pumpkin Spice donuts are available at Krispy Kreme for two days like the restaurant claims, but there are more items on its Spring menu you ought to try.
The donut shop has introduced minis to celebrate Spring.
The limited edition box includes Mini Bouncing Bunny, Mini Diving Duck, Mini Daffodil, and Mini Chocolate Iced with Spring Sprinkles.
The special Spring donuts are available in all participating restaurants until April 9.
