KOURTNEY Kardashian has shared an emotional post dedicated to her later father, Robert Kardashian, 20 years after his death.
In July 2003, Robert was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and died two months later. He was 59 years old.

Kourtney, 44, posted a heartfelt tribute to her dad by sharing a picture on her Instagram Stories of Robert waving and smiling towards the camera.
In the Hulu star’s caption, she wrote: “I miss you Daddy. 20 years ago today since I haven’t seen you,” along with a dove emoji.
Robert is most known for his work as O.J. Simpson’s defense attorney during his murder trial in 1995.
Robert married Kris Jenner, 67, in 1978 and had four kids: Kim, 42, Khloe, 39, Rob, 36, and Kourtney.
Robert and Kris divorced in 1991 due to Kris’s affair with Todd Waterman, 58.
‘A SADNESS THAT LIVES WITH YOU’
A screenshot of the Lemme founder’s tribute made it to a popular online Kardashians forum where some could relate to Kourtney’s heartbreaking loss.
One fan said: “I feel like Kourtney and Rob seemed to have taken his death the hardest, and I feel like that’s where some of their sadness truly stems from. I think they’ve both struggled to find ‘happiness’ after their father passed away.”
“As someone who lost their dad, you never ever recover. It’s a sadness that lives with you every single day,” a second replied.
A third wrote: “Losing a parent is a different kind of pain.”

“Losing your father is intense pain,” a fourth admitted.
ONE-OF-A-KIND GIFT
In May 2022, Kourtney and her husband, Travis Barker, 47, got married in Italy.
During a scene from their Hulu wedding special, Till Death Do Us Part Kourtney & Travis, mom Kris gifted Kourtney the wedding ring that was given to her by Robert Sr.
Kourtney showed off the ring to Khloe telling her: “Wait, look, Mom just gave me her ring. That was from Dad.”
Khloe inspected the ring and said: “Awww!”
In a confessional, Kourtney fought back tears as she said: “She gave me her wedding ring from my dad.
“When my dad died, I remember thinking I never want to get married because my dad isn’t there to walk me down the aisle.
“So that gift meant so much.”
Kourtney also talked about her dad right before walking down the aisle and revealed he “reminds” her of Travis.
“My dad would’ve loved Travis and Travis reminds me so much of my dad in the weirdest ways, ” the reality star said.
“I felt his presence and a sense of calm. It felt so good and calm… like, I’m ready and it just felt perfect.”
