With Liverpool set to host Arsenal at Anfield on Sunday, we have done our best to call the Merseyside-based club’s predicted lineup.
Considering Jurgen Klopp heavily tinkered his side’s in their 0-0 draw against Chelsea, we expect as many as 6 changes to be made for the upcoming clash against Mikel Arteta’s side.
Liverpool predicted lineup vs Arsenal
The most unsurprising pick in our Liverpool predicted lineup is that of Alisson Becker against Arsenal.
Seeing how Joe Gomez was handed a surprise start against the Blues, Trent Alexander-Arnold is expected to slot in straight into the side.
Similarly, Joel Matip seems likely to be benched as well in favour of Virgil van Dijk for his side’s contest against the Gunners, who was confirmed to be fit by Jurgen Klopp, as per Liverpool’s official website in his latest press conference.
However, Ibrahima Konate is dead set to retain his place in our Liverpool predicted lineup against Arsenal.
At left-back as well, Andy Robertson is another likely inclusion in place of Kostas Tsimikas, who was not at his best against Chelsea in any case.
In defensive midfield, Fabinho remains the only viable option, due to Stefan Bajcetic’s long-term injury in what has been a diabolical campaign for him up until now.

While Jurgen Klopp did say in the same press conference that Thiago Alcantara had returned to fitness, he admitted that a return against the league leaders would be far too early.
With that in mind, while Curtis Jones is likely to be displaced against Arsenal, it could be for Harvey Elliott.
As for Jordan Henderson, he is expected to keep his place.
Coming on to the front three, Darwin Nunez is expected to start as a left-winger once again.

But Mohamed Salah, branded as ‘amazing’ by Unai Emery seems guaranteed to come into the side for Diogo Jota, while Cody Gakpo could replace Diogo Jota.
